About us

Why we're building this

Most of us were never taught how to name what we feel — and caregiving, aging and changing family roles make it harder. We want emotional discovery to feel as approachable as picking up a card.

Where we are

Progress so far

The Change Between Us is in development. Here's what exists today.

Relationship deck

Designed in five card types — Scenario, Pattern, Male and Female Archetype, and Growth — and in review with therapists.

Caregiver deck

60 cards drafted across three suits: Scenario, Pattern and Growth.

Therapist review

An online form where therapists rate every card for relevance and note what's missing.

Companion app

Early concept designs for a simple digital companion to the cards.

The broader vision

Caregiving first, relationships everywhere

We're starting with caregiving because that's where the need for words is often most urgent — and least supported.

Over time, the same Discovery First approach can help people in many relationships express feelings, understand needs and navigate change together: partners, families and the professionals who support them.

We'd love to hear from you
